Cindy
Registered Dental Hygienist
Cindy has been practicing dental hygiene for 47 years. Now at Smiles of Vinings, Cindy continues her passion for dental care, always ensuring her patients leave with healthier smiles. Cindy loves her patients and is dedicated to providing up-to-date dental hygiene and education. She graduated from Clayton State University, where she was awarded the prestigious Golden Scaler Award for Academics. Her patients truly appreciate her sincere and unwavering care and friendship. Cindy provides regular cleanings, deep cleanings, soft tissue maintenance (for gum disease), cosmetic whitening, and oral hygiene education for the entire family. She also recommends a variety of helpful dental care products to support at-home dental care.
Cindy lives with her husband in Smyrna, where her family has resided for over 100 years. She enjoys boating, beach walks, biking, baking, bargaining, and especially smiling! Cindy also has a son, a daughter-in-law, and two grandsons, with whom she loves spending quality time.
Samenda
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Samenda is committed to providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. Her comprehensive knowledge and diverse skills set her apart as a valuable asset to the Smiles of Vinings dental team. With expertise in a wide range of dental procedures, Samenda confidently assists our dentists in various treatments, from basic dental cleanings to more complex dental treatments.
Samenda’s attention to detail and a keen eye for precision ensure that each dental procedure she assists with is carried out flawlessly, leaving patients with beautiful, healthy smiles. Her positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile make her not only a valued member of the dental team but also a trusted source of reassurance and support for patients throughout their dental journey.
Mitchelle
Office Manager
Mitchelle is a proud graduate of the University of West Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Community Wellness, with a minor in Psychology. Originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and raised in Georgia, Mitchelle has always been driven by a passion for community service and a commitment to helping others reach their fullest potential.
As our office manager at Smiles of Vinings, Mitchelle utilizes her educational background and diverse cultural experiences to create a welcoming and efficient environment for both patients and staff. She understands that a well-organized office is essential to the success of a dental practice, and she takes pride in ensuring that every aspect of the office, from patient scheduling to administrative operations, runs smoothly. Mitchelle is focused on building positive relationships with patients and fostering clear communication within the team. Her goal is to create an atmosphere where patients feel valued and supported while empowering her colleagues to perform at their best. Mitchelle is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on both the dental practice and the community it serves.
Torie
Registered Dental Assistant
After graduating in 2019 from American Career College in Los Angeles, California, Torie began her dental assisting career. Shortly after, she obtained her Registered Dental Assistant license. The experience she gained from working in pediatrics, endodontics, and general practice compelled her to seek a way to share this knowledge. Three years later, a position at a dental assisting trade school was presented to her by the Dean of Education. Torie became an instructor and taught new students in a dental assisting program, many of whom she is in contact with to this day.
After migrating to Atlanta to be closer to family, she continued her dental assisting career at Smiles of Vinings. She continues to pursue higher education and looks forward to supporting the staff and patients at this office.
